Outstanding Polish actress. She debuted in 1976 with a small role in famous "Człowiek z marmuru", directed by Andrzej Wajda. In the same year, she starred in Agnieszka Holland’s "Niedzielne dzieci". She established her place as one of the most popular Polish actors, after she had taken part in biographical "Miłość ci wszystko wybaczy" (1981) and a few dozen feature films by notable directors.
